Duringdesign, input was sought from numerous operatorsand institutions who stated they required a highlevel of hygiene and ease of cleaning, easy to usecontrols with close temperature monitoring,built-in high/low temperature alarms with a provisionto alarm back to a central alarm, environmentalconsiderations ranging from power consumption(make it as low as possible) and useenvironmentally friendly materials to build thecabinets. These are easy to useand the temperature can be adjusted by simplypressing buttons indicated, within set parameters.The control unit also features a built-in high/lowtemperature alarm, which is both visual and audible,it will activate after set period and automaticallyre-set once correct temperature has beenattained, such as door has been left open.Can we connect the cabinet to ourcentral alarm system?As a standard feature the control unit can be wiredto a central alarm system. An RS-485 port canalso connect it to a PC and with extra softwarediligence downloading can take place and recordskept.TARGET 3.Hygiene and ease of cleaning is importantSmaller medical cabinets and the LAB 300 arefitted with special internal bacteria-proof condensatewater collectors. Larger cabinets are equippedwith external automatic condensate water disposalsystems.All internal/external surfaces are easy to clean.Shelving and on larger cabinets shelving pilastersand runners can all be removed without tools forall round sanitising, coved corners and one piecebases also assists by reducing possible dirt traps.Larger cabinets can be supplied with a choice ofexternal surfaces to suit working applications.TARGET 4.The environment is important to everyone, whatcan your cabinets do to help it?On our new series of cabinets we have concentratedon lowering energy consumption. At least 25 %against our older models and much, much moreagainst many competitors. Every kW consumedallows Co2 to be emitted from a fossil burningpower station, less energy used less Co2 is releasedin the atmosphere = a happier world.Porkka have eliminated the use of CFC and HCFCmaterials from their equipment many years ago,we are pleased to announce that they contain noOZONE depleting substances.
