Current study topics include: ministry, scripture, adult religious education, sacraments, andcontemporary catholic issues. This is a learner-centered program with curriculum and assignments relevant to thestudent’s experience and church involvement. The program concludes with a practicum whereby the student develops aministry-based project.The Certificate in Lay Ministry is an alternative to the diploma program and requires completion of MNST 110 (seebelow) and any 3 electives in the Diploma in Ministry Program. EatonOpen AccessIn consultation with the Program Office, the learnerexplores a topic from an area related to ministry anddevelops a study plan in consultation with an advisor.
