What a great weekend we allhad in Louisville. Now we know what the “in” crowd is: those who came to the reunion (and thosewho wanted to come but couldn’t). After 40 years, it sure didn’t matter who you were in high school,it was just good to be with a truly wonderful group of people. You were great in the 50’s and 60’s,and you are great now. Sorry to anybody who missed it. See you next time (hint: that may be soonerthan 10 years).My special thanks to Marie Van Hoose Sayre (who shamed us into this) and to Dick Bedwell, ScottDavis and Dan Gray, who made it all possible with their hard work. Our class is forever indebted tothese guys. As you communicate with them, please thank them again and again.I am sure there will be more postings with stories and tales from the weekend. Eventually, we willhave pictures posted on the web site, so look for those. Also, we hope to publish and distribute thelatest mailing list.One final piece of business: we need to establish a class gift committee (now that we have some contributions)in order to determine what we do with the money we have collected. We will have a coregroup here in Louisville but really need some “outside” advisors to keep that group honest. If youwant to serve, please contact me privately through email or otherwise (502-419-9030), and we willestablish a permanent group.That’s it for now. I know this room will he buzzing for weeks.
