17−POWER STEERING PUMPSTroubleshootingHARD STEERING1. Improper tire pressure2. Loose pump drive belt3. Low or incorrect fluid4. Loose, bent or poorly lubricated front endparts5. Improper front end alignment6. Bind in steering column or linkage7. Air in hydraulic system8. Low pump output or leaks in system9. Obstruction in lines10. <strong>Pump</strong> valves sticking or out of adjustment1. Inflate tires to recommended pressures.2. Tighten or replace belt.3.
