Troubleshooting <strong>Proline</strong> <strong>Promass</strong> 839 Troubleshooting9.1 Troubleshooting instructionsAlways start troubleshooting with the following checklist if faults occur after commissioning orduring operation. The routine takes you directly to the cause of the problem and the appropriateremedial measures.Check the displayNo display visible and nooutput signals present.No display visible, butoutput signals are present.Display texts are in aforeign language.Measured value indicated,but no signal at the currentor pulse output1. Check the supply voltage Terminals 1, 22. Check device fuse ä 10085 to 260 V AC: 0.8 A slow-blow / 250 V20 to 55 V AC and 16 to 62 V DC: 2 A slow-blow / 250 V3. Measuring electronics defective order spare parts ä 951. Check whether the ribbon-cable connector of the display module is correctly pluggedinto the amplifier board ä 952. Display module defective order spare parts ä 953. Measuring electronics defective order spare parts ä 95Switch off power supply. Press and hold down both the P keys and switch on themeasuring device. The display text will appear in English (default) and is displayed atmaximum contrast.Measuring electronics defective order spare parts ä 95▼Error messages on displayErrors that occur during commissioning or measuring are displayed immediately. Error messages consist of a variety oficons.
