Proline Promass 83Operation5 Operation5.1 Display and operating elementsThe local display enables you to read all important parameters directly at the measuring point andconfigure the device using the "Quick Setup" or the function matrix.The display consists of four lines; this is where measured values and/or status variables (directionof flow, empty pipe, bar graph, etc.) are displayed. You can change the assignment of display linesto different variables to suit your needs and preferences ( see the "Description of DeviceFunctions" manual).Fig. 28: Display and operating elements1 Liquid crystal displayThe backlit, four-line liquid crystal display shows measured values, dialog texts, fault messages and noticemessages.
