<strong>Proline</strong> <strong>Promass</strong> 83Installation"Caution!3.3.2 Installing the wall-mount housingThere are various ways of installing the wall-mount housing:• Mounted directly on the wall• Installation in control panel (separate mounting set, accessories) ä 24• Pipe mounting (separate mounting set, accessories) ä 24• Make sure that ambient temperature does not go beyond the permissible range (– 20 to +60 °C (–4 to + °140 F), optional – 40 to +60 °C (–40 to +140 °F)). Install the devicein a shady location. Avoid direct sunlight.• Always install the wall-mount housing in such a way that the cable entries are pointing down.Mounted directly on the wall1. Drill the holes as illustrated in the diagram.2. Remove the cover of the connection compartment (a).3. Push the two securing screws (b) through the appropriate bores (c) in the housing.– Securing screws (M6): max. Ø 6.5 mm (0.26")– Screw head: max. Ø 10.5 mm (0.41")4. Secure the transmitter housing to the wall as indicated.5.
