Proline Promass 83Troubleshooting"Caution!!Note!9.7 ReturnDo not return a measuring device if you are not absolutely certain that all traces of hazardoussubstances have been removed, e.g. substances which have penetrated crevices or diffused throughplastic.Costs incurred for waste disposal and injury (burns, etc.) due to inadequate cleaning will be chargedto the owner-operator.The following steps must be taken before returning a flow measuring device to ,e.g. for repair or calibration:• Always enclose a duly completed "Declaration of contamination" form. Only then can transport, examine and repair a returned device.• Enclose special handling instructions if necessary, for example a safety data sheet as perEC REACH Regulation No. 1907/2006.• Remove all residues. Pay special attention to the grooves for seals and crevices which couldcontain residues.
