She has owned her own business inthe international English language teaching sector, is an experienced manager and has been involvedin lecturing and training in universities and private vocational education and training for a numberof years. She holds postgraduate qualifications in management. From 1992 to 2004 she managed theNational ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS), the national accreditation and quality monitoring servicefor Australia’s international student sector and Adult Migrant English Program. She has a consultancybusiness and has conducted research and project management for the international education industryin Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA and Canada related to professional development, qualityassurance in ELT, language assessment and other aspects of international education.22 www.ielts.org
