FurtherI draw your attention that candidates admitted up to 25.06.2009 are made eligible(please visit website for the list of eligible candidates) to appear for the aboveexamination. This information was communicated in detail to all those ResearchScholars and the concerned Research Guides through E-mail and by post on 1.7.2009and 4.7.2009.The Pre-Ph.D examination consists of two papersPaper – I - Research MethodologyPaper – II – Research Topic.Please visit our website for the syllabus of the Paper – I Research Methodology. In thecase of Paper – II all the Research Scholars (except exempted from appearing thePre - Ph.D examination*) are in consultation with the Research Guides shouldfurnish the following detials(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)The Title and the research Topic of thesis.The Syllabus content of the Paper – II (Research Topic) of Ph.D/ M.PhilWritten examination in the form of 4/5 units.Model paper consisting of 10 questions out of which the candidate has toanswer any five questions.List of at least 10 subject experts in the topic chosen.The above information shall reach our University on or before 31.07.2009, for theconduct of the examinations during Sept./Oct., 2009. However, the candidates whoare unable to appear for the above scheduled examination can appear for suchexamination being planned tentatively during Jan, 2010.The examination application can be downloaded from the University website. Thecandidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs. 1,500/- through DD in favour ofRegistrar, Rayalaseema University Payable at Kurnool on or before 31.7.2009.

Applications will be accepted between 1 st August to 20 th August, 2009 with a penaltyfee of Rs. 500/-.* The Research Scholars who have satisfied the following requirements can send aletter of request for such exemption through their Guide. Further such ResearchScholars are instructed to furnish the title and topic of research (which is compatiblewith the thesis at the time of submission) with a minimum of 500 words without fail.1.
