The project is being continuedas ERA-NET Road II within an enlarged consortium and thefunding from the EU Seventh Framework Programme forResearch and Technological Development.Database of severe weather events across Europe. It isuseful for indicating general vulnerability of projects.Online toolkit that presents spatially various aspects ofclimate change adaptation. It includes physical risks andaspects of social vulnerability.Insurance based database analysing approximately 1000events every year. The information collated can be used todocument and perform risk and trend analyses on theextent and intensity of individual natural hazard events invarious parts of the world.Up-to-date database of EU MSs progress under the EU’sAdaptation White Paper. It is a good source for countryspecific actions.The joint website of the Dutch Climate changes SpatialPlanning Programme and the Knowledge for ClimateResearch Programme. The Climate changes Spatial PlanningProgramme enhances joint-learning between communitiesand people in practice within spatial planning, with thethemes climate scenarios, mitigation, adaptation,integration and communication. The Knowledge for ClimateResearch Programme develops knowledge and services,focusing on eight Hotspots, enabling the climate proofing ofthe Netherlands.This Report provides information regarding challenges andopportunities for cities together with supportive nationaland European policies to facilitate.
