5.STAKEHOLDERS’ ROLES ANDRESPONSIBILITIESPrior environmental clearance process involves many stakeholders i.e., CentralGovernment, State Government, SEIAA, EAC at the National Level, SEAC, the publicagency, SPCB, the project proponent, and the public.Roles and responsibilities of the organizations involved in different stages of priorenvironmental clearance are listed in Table 5-1.
