Welding strips EN-159811Cepro International B.V. - Catalogue 2010 - www.cepro.euWelding strips and welding curtains offer the samevisual protection. The choice between these two productsis based on mechanical load, to which the separationis exposed. When the mechanical load is heavyand regular strips are recommended.Welding strips have a thickness of 2 or 3 mm and awidth of 300 mm. The strips can be cut and punchedto any desired length. Welding strips are also availableon full rolls (length 50 meter) or part rolls. In order tosuspend the strips a plastic suspension clip is availablewhich fits on a pipe Ø 35 mm.Cepro has in its programme four colours in weldingstrips which all comply with the European standard forwelding strips EN-1598.The colours are: Cepro Orange-CE,Cepro Bronze-CE,Cepro Green-6 and Cepro Green-9. Except for CeproGreen-9 all versions are transparent, which allows agood view on the workplace. This is safe and it preventsa feeling of isolation for the welder.Cepro welding strips are self-extinguishing and thereforewithstand welding sparks. They are, however, notsuitable as a welding blanket and do not withstand openfire and intense heat. Welding strips offer visual protectionagainst dangerous radiation but are not suitable forsupervising welding works or as a substitute for weldinghelmets.
