The RS232 connection is a peer to peer connection with only one MODBUS slave and a maximumdistance of 20 m between master and last slave. The RS 485 connection is limited to a maximum of 32 slave maxwith a distance maximum of 1000 m between master and last slave. To connect to the MODBUS devices using a serial connection:1.
