MILITARY HONORARY CO-CHAIRSreceived his commission from President Ronald Reagan whenhe graduated from the academy in 1984, and met PresidentGeorge H.W. Bush during a visit to the academy.Richard earned a full scholarship and received a Masterof Science degree in Computer Information Systemsfrom Bentley University and an MBA from University ofMassachusetts Boston.Richard joined <strong>Travelers</strong> in 2008 and currently leads thecontact center technology group, providing business-criticalapplications.Richard and his wife, Michelle, live in Connecticut, and thecouple has two children.SETH ST. AMANDSeth St. Amand was a member of theUnited States Marine Corps and servedan enlistment term of six years. He washonorably discharged from the Marinesin May 2012. While in the Marines, Sethserved as a fire team leader and squadleader in an infantry battalion.As a squad leader in the infantry, Seth led a squad of 12Marines over a period of several years through training,combat operations and preparation for a deployment toAfghanistan. In April 2011, he was deployed to Afghanistanwhere he served for nine months. While in Afghanistan, hewas stationed at Camp Dwyer, where he was charged with thedefense of the Entry Control Point (ECP) for the base. Thisincluded tasks such as the search and seizure of weapons,narcotics and other contraband, preventing their entry to thebase. Seth interacted and worked with the Afghan NationalArmy, the Jordanian Army and Afghan civilians on a dailybasis. During his service, Seth earned a meritorious promotionand a Certificate of Commendation, among other awards andmedals received as a unit while deployed.Seth joined <strong>Travelers</strong> in 2009 as a claims adjuster in the AutoPhysical Damage department. In July 2012, he transitionedinto his current role of a claims case manager in theInvestigative Claims Unit of Workers Compensation. Duringhis deployment to Afghanistan, Seth noted the unmatchedsupport of <strong>Travelers</strong> to both himself and his wife.He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife of two years,Hilary St. Amand, and plans to pursue a long and rewardingcareer with <strong>Travelers</strong>.16
