It had strangely little surf.“How about camping here?” Marcus posed. “Thatlooks like a flat-spot behind those elephants.”Grum gave him a look that said the elephantscould have it. “Why don’t we check this cove herein Antarctic Bay?” he said, indicating an indent onthe map with his finger.I was about ready to get ashore and stow mypaddle for the day, but the beach, if you could callit that, looked bleak and uninviting. “If the swelldirection changes more to the north it might be awhile before we get off this beach” I added.
