NEW MODELS FOR A NEW WORLD4.2 New Corporate Models4.2.1 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)While a traditional for-profit organization might not be a social enterprise, asocially responsible business may still create and achieve positive socialchange indirectly through its practices, operations and philanthropicendeavours – something known as corporate social responsibility (CSR). CSRis defined as the way businesses integrate social, environmental and economicconcerns into their values and operations in a transparent and accountablemanner.
