Dear S<strong>up</strong>porter <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nikkei</strong> <strong>Concerns</strong>,Laying the Foundation for the Future... th<strong>is</strong> was our theme and focus for 2011.As many <strong>of</strong> us are aware, our community <strong>is</strong> rapidly evolving… our families certainly reflect th<strong>is</strong>. <strong>The</strong>health care landscape <strong>is</strong> also changing. Co<strong>up</strong>led with state <strong>of</strong> the current economy… requirements areincreasing while calling for significant cost containment.For many organizations, th<strong>is</strong> environment would create a tension that <strong>is</strong> nearly impossible to thrive in, letalone manage. However, <strong>Nikkei</strong> <strong>Concerns</strong> <strong>is</strong> fortunate to have a dimension that others do not… YOU…our community s<strong>up</strong>porters. Because <strong>of</strong> our donors, volunteers and ever present spirit <strong>of</strong> kimochi, wecan live today and plan for tomorrow.
