With justone twist of the thumb turn, the multipoint lock system secures the door in the top,middle and bottom — for superior durability, performance and added security.Draw-in latch bolts seal the door tightly against wind and water.The reinforced steel plate increases security. And the steel I-beam construction providesadded strength. All these elements contribute to a design that is especially important ineight-foot doors and helps to prevent warping.Double doors also feature the multipoint option. Three deadbolts secure the activedoor at the top, middle and bottom into the inactive panel. The inactive panel offerstwo options: you can choose a multipoint mechanism that secures the inactive door atthe head and sill with the simple twist of the thumb turn.
