Milestones of the Company’s History
1996 – CETELEM ČR, a.s. came into existence
1997 – Business activities launched, first consumer credit provided
1998 – Launch of the Aura card on the Czech market
2000 – Launch of the Cetelem Personal Loans
2002 – Cetelem was the first non-banking financial institution on the Czech market to join the MasterCard International association
2003 – Launch of Aura MasterCard Electronic cards
2004 – Extension of Cetelem offer to include the new Autoúvěr and Motoúvěr products
2005 – Launch of the Cetelem ON-LINE Loan
2005 – Cetelem started to issue Aura MasterCard cards with international validity
2006 – Issue of the first credit card of the type Aura Plus with extended functions
2006 – Offer extended to include the Small Loans product
2006 – Introduction of an up to 50-day interest free period for all credit cards
