Faaliyet Raporu 2009 - YASED Uluslararası Yatırımcılar Derneği

2008 yılında dünya genelinde en fazla uluslararasıdoğrudan yatırım çeken ülkeler ABD, Fransa, Çin, İngiltereve Rusya Federasyonu olmuştur. 2007 yılında en fazlaUDY çeken ülkeler arasında revize rakamlara göre 25.sırada yer alan Türkiye, 2008 yılında 18,2 milyar dolarla20. sırada yer almıştır.Uluslararası doğrudan yatırım stoğu açısındandeğerlendirildiğinde ise, UNCTAD’ın verilerine göre, 2008yılı itibariyle global uluslararası doğrudan yatırım stoğu14,9 trilyon dolar olurken, Türkiye 70 milyar dolarlık stoğuile 40. sırada yer almıştır.Koza ProjesiYASED İstihdam ve Eğitim Çalışma Grubu tarafındanTürkiye ekonomisinin en önemli sorunlarından biri olanistihdam ve eğitim konusunda katma değer yaratmayıhedefleyen sosyal sorumluluk projesi “Koza” hayatageçirilmiştir. Proje ile, GAP bölgesinde eğitim gören 124üniversite öğrencisine 2009 yaz döneminde 50 YASEDüyesi şirkette Temmuz ve Ağustos olmak üzere 2 ayrıdönemde 1 ay süreyle staj imkanı sağlanmıştır.Staj eğitiminin yanısıra Türkiye’nin önde geleneğitimcilerinden her grup için 4’er günlük kişisel gelişim,liderlik ve girişimcilik eğitimleri verilmiştir. Projeye yönelikayrıntılı bilgilerin ve öğrencilerin deneyimlerinin yer aldığıbir belgesel hazırlanarak YASED web sitesinde kamuoyuile paylaşılmıştır.Proje, Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde eğitim gören,gerekli beceri ve niteliklere sahip öğrencilere vizyonkazandırmayı; GAP bölgesinde eğitim gören öğrencilerinuluslararası firmaların iş yapış sistemlerini, merkezlerindeveya Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerindeki operasyonlarındaöğrenmelerini ve staj dönemi süresince edindiklerideneyimleri, ileride gerek bölgeleri gerekse kendi kişiselgelişimleri için kullanabilmelerini sağlamayı hedeflemiştir.Proje aynı zamanda uluslararası şirketlerin doğubölgelerindeki öğrencilerle ilgili fikir edinmeleri ve varsaönyargılarının kırılması için de bir fırsat olmuştur.Dokuz ildeki üniversiteleri kapsayan proje, GAPİdaresi’nden de tam destek almıştır. Proje kapsamındakiüniversiteler şunlar olmuştur: Adıyaman (AdıyamanÜniversitesi), Batman (Batman Üniversitesi), Diyarbakır(Dicle Üniversitesi), Gaziantep (Gaziantep Üniversitesi),Kilis (7 Aaralık Üniversitesi), Mardin (Artuklu Üniversitesi),Siirt (Siirt Üniversitesi), Şanlıurfa (Harran Üniversitesi) veŞırnak (Şırnak Üniversitesi). YASED Yönetim Kurulu veof the crisis have not been reflected fully in the figuresin 2008. However, the Report anticipated a more severefall in 2009 and recovery to the pre-crisis period levelswill only be possible in 2011.Countries which attracted highest FDI inflows in 2008were USA, France, China, United Kingdom and RussianFederation. Turkey, which ranked as the 25th country interms of FDI inflows according to revised figures of theyear, ranked 20th in 2008 with an FDI inflow of USD 18.2billion.The stock of FDI worldwide, meanwhile, has been USD14.9 trillion in 2008, according to UNCTAD data. Turkeyranked 40th with an FDI stock amounting to USD 70billion as of end of 2008.Koza ProjectThe social responsibility project of YASED entitled “Koza”,which was aimed at generating added value for one ofthe key issues of Turkey’s economy, i.e. employment andeducation, was initiated by the “Employment andEducation Working Group”. 124 university students fromthe Southeastern Anatolia (GAP) Region were providedinternships in 50 YASED members companies in July andAugust 2009 - in two terms of one month each.In addition to the internship trainings, the students havealso received personal development, leadership andentrepreneurship training from the leading trainers ofTurkey. Each group was given this training for a periodof 4 days. A documentary film which gives detailedinformation on the project, and narrates the experiencesof the students was shared with the public throughYASED’s web site.The Project was aimed to help the students in theSoutheastern Anatolia Region - gifted with the necessaryskills and qualifications - to gain vision, and cause thestudents of this region to learn the business practices ofinternational companies, and the operations they carryout at their headquarters and different geographicallocations of Turkey, and to encourage these students tomake use of the experiences they would acquire duringtheir internship period, for the improvement of theirregion as well as their personal developments. The Projecthas also created an opportunity for internationalcompanies to get an opinion about the students livingin the eastern part of Turkey and to remove the prejudices- if any.The Project involved the universities located in 9 provinces,and received full support from the GAP Administration.24
