For a full description of these trunk rules, refer to the NetIronSeries Configuration Guide.The following items must be considered when configuring trunk groups:• You can use both static trunk groups and 802.3ad trunking on the same device. However, youcan use only one type of trunking for a given port. For example, you can configure port 1/1 asa member of a static trunk group or you can enable 802.3ad link aggregation on the port, butyou cannot do both.• The ports in a trunk group make a single logical link. Therefore, all the ports in a trunk groupmust be connected to the same device at the other end.• A trunk threshold must be configured on only one end of the trunk.
