INSTRUCTIONS FOR RE-EVALUATION1. Any Candidate may apply on the prescribed form for re-evaluation of answer-book(s) in Theory papers inan examination taken by him/her within 20 days of the date of declaration of result or within 15 days of thedate of dispatch of D.M.C from the University; whichever is later; enclosing therewith in original DetailedMarks Card/Certificate and fee prescribed for re-evaluation. Re-evaluation shall not be permitted in case ofpapers, which have already been evaluated by two examiners, Dissertation, Project Report, PracticalExamination, the subject of environment studies for under graduate classes and in the Examinations in theFaculty of Medical Science.CANDIDATES CAN ALSO SUBMIT THEIR RE-EVALUATION FORMS AFTER THE EXPIRY OF ABOVE MENTIONED TIMELIMIT( w.e.f. OCTOBER, 2010 EXAMINATIONS)(A) UPTO NEXT SEVEN DAYS WITH LATE FEE OF RS. 200/- AND FURTHER SEVEN DAYS WITH LATEFEE OF RS. 300/- PROVIDED THAT NO ANSWER BOOK WILL BE RE-EVALUATED IF THE RE-EVALUATION FORM IS RECEIVED AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE DATE OF THE EXAMINATION ON ANYGROUND WHATSOEVER.(B) LATE FEE FOR BDS EXAMS RS. 500/- UPTO SEVEN DAYS (AFTER SEVEN DAYS NO RE-EVALUATION FORM FOR BDS SHALL BE ALLOWED) PROVIDED THAT NO ANSWER BOOK WILL BERE-EVALUATED IF THE RE-EVALUATION FORM IS RECEIVED AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE DATE OFTHE EXAMINATION ON ANY GROUND WHATSOEVER.2. Fee can be deposited in Oriental Bank of Commerce, K.U.K. or in any CBS Branch of PNB in India or itmay be remitted through Bank draft “Account Payee” drawn in favour of the Registrar, KurukshetraUniversity, Kurukshetra payable at the State Bank of India; University Branch, Kurukshetra.3. Application received not more than three days after the above last date will be considered only if the samehave been posted on or before the last date prescribed above.4. Only 50% of the amount deposited is refundable in case where the application for re-evaluation is rejectedby the University.5. Late procurement of application form shall not be entertained as a plea for its late submission in any case.6. Decrease in marks due to re-evaluation will be taken into account. The result/marks of a Candidate will berevised on the basis of re-evaluation score, in terms of Clause 18.3, only if the score increases by 3% ormore of the maximum marks allotted to the concerned paper or if on re-evaluation, the character of theresult changes (character means change in division’ or ‘Fail to Compartment/Re-appear’ or ‘Fail to Pass’ or‘Compartment/Re-appear to Pass’ or in the case of a candidate for Master’s degree examination theaggregate comes to 54.5 or 55%. The marks obtained as a result of re-evaluation shall not count towardsdetermining the position in the order of merit and award of the prize/medal.7. ALL LEGAL DISPUTES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS/ADMISSION OF STUDENTS WILL BE SUBJECTTO KURUKSHETRA COURTS OR COURTS HAVING JURISDICTION IN KURUKSHETRA.8. The candidate is allowed to withdraw his/her re-evaluation in one or more paper(s) for which re-evaluationaward have not been received. No fee will be refunded in such cases.9. A candidate will be permitted to see his/her re-evaluated answer-book(s) for identification only if his/herapplication alongwith a fee of Rs. 100/- per answer-book reaches the A.O./AR/DR/(Re-eval.) within 15 daysof the date of dispatch of result of re-evaluation.10. Incomplete applications in any respect will be rejected.11. The re-evaluation will be done under the rules framed by the Executive Council of the University from timeto time and the result of the re-evaluation will be conveyed to the candidate soon after it is declared. Nointerim communication to this effect will be entertained. The candidate is however; advised to plan his/herfuture programmes in accordance with his/her original result already communicated by the Result Branch tillit is actually superseded by the result of re-evaluation. He/She may submit the examination admissionform, if desires.12. Re-evaluation forms are available with the Manager, Printing and Publications, Kurukshetra UniversityKurukshetra-136 119 at the following rates.1. At the Counter Rs. 10.002. By Regd. Application form complete in all respects alongwith fee original D.M.C/Certificate and the envelopecontaining the address of the Candidate written by himself/herself be submitted personally or by RegisteredPost, addressed to the Deputy Registrar/Assistant Registrar (Re-evaluation), Kurukshetra University,Kurukshetra-136 119.14. BEFORE SUBMITTING THE RE-EVALUATION-FORM IN THE UNIVERSITY OFFICE, THE STUDENTSARE ADVISED IN THEIR OWN INTEREST TO RETAIN SUFFICIENT ATTESTED PHOTO-COPIES OFORIGINAL D.M.C. FOR ACADEMIC PURSUITS OR FOR SEEKING JOB OPPORTUNITIES ANY WHEREETC.
