Describe any proposed or potential changes to land tenure or designation, and theeffect <strong>of</strong> such changes on approval requirements and applicable legislation, policy, orcode provisions. In particular, describe the following:• impacts on and strategies for mitigation, for key land resources including:– good quality agricultural land—State Planning Policy 1/92: Development and theConservation <strong>of</strong> Agricultural land (Department <strong>of</strong> Housing, Local Government andPlanning and Department <strong>of</strong> Primary Industries 1992) and Planning guidelines:The identification <strong>of</strong> good quality agricultural land (Department <strong>of</strong> PrimaryIndustries & Department <strong>of</strong> Housing, Local Government and Planning 1993)– strategic cropping land—State Planning Policy 1/12: Conservation <strong>of</strong> StrategicCropping Land (Department <strong>of</strong> Environment and Resource Management 2012b),where exemptions for Strategic Port Land do not apply– extractive resources—State Planning Policy 2/07: Protection <strong>of</strong> ExtractiveResources (Department <strong>of</strong> Mines and Energy 2007a) and State Planning Policy2/07 Guideline: Protection <strong>of</strong> Extractive Resources (Department <strong>of</strong> Mines andEnergy 2007b), especially with respect to key resource areas defined by thatpolicy and guideline– potential residential (including rural residential), commercial and industrial land• possible effects and constraints on town planning and port planning objectives andcontrols, including local government zoning and strategic plans, and port authorityzoning and development guidelines• opportunities and constraints to future residential and industrial uses in the vicinity <strong>of</strong>the project site• management <strong>of</strong> the immediate environs <strong>of</strong> the project including construction andtransport corridor buffer zones• proposed land use changes in any areas <strong>of</strong> high conservation value and informationon how easement widths and vegetation clearance in environmentally sensitiveareas will be minimised• potential issues involved in proximity and/or co-location <strong>of</strong> other current or proposedinfrastructure services.5.2.2. Scenic amenity and lightingDescription <strong>of</strong> environmental valuesDetail the existing scenic and landscape features, panoramas and views that have, orcould be expected to have, value to the community.
