10 Sunday, October 14, 2012 <strong>Kingfisher</strong> (Okla.) <strong>Times</strong> & <strong>Free</strong> <strong>Press</strong>Break-in, thefts, v<strong>and</strong>alism reported to sheriffOct. 3 — <strong>Kingfisher</strong> Countyeputy Sheriff Justin Conneras dispatched to a locationour miles south of the ReedngRoad <strong>and</strong> SH-33 junction,nd one-quarter mile east ineference to breaking-<strong>and</strong>-enering.Upon arrival, he metith Marvin <strong>and</strong> Rosalindriplett who advised that theirarn had been broken-intoometime between Oct. 1 <strong>and</strong>. The barn door had beenried open, <strong>and</strong> the suspectas able to unload a trailerhat was located on the northide of the barn. The traileras then used to haul awaywo 4-wheelers <strong>and</strong> a large airompressor. Also stolen wereshotgun, a rifle <strong>and</strong> a laserurvey tool. Photographs <strong>and</strong>vidence were taken at thecene, <strong>and</strong> serial numbers ofhe stolen property were proidedto the deputy.Oct. 4 — Deputy Mattubbard was dispatched to aield located 10 miles east, sixiles south <strong>and</strong> 1.5 miles westf Hennessey in reference to<strong>and</strong>alism. Upon arrival, heet with Ryan Siegman whoeported that a wheat truckn the property had been vanalized.A tractor was also loatedin the field, <strong>and</strong>, basedn tire tracks, it had beendriven in a complete circleclockwise. The truck, whichhad also been moved, haddamage to the driver’s frontquarter-panel, with painttransfer matching the tractor.Additional tire tracks in thefield indicated the suspect possiblyattempted to do a“doughnut” in the field beforereturning to the road. Footprints were found in the fieldas well. All damage <strong>and</strong> evidencewas photographed atthe scene.Oct. 4, 9:50 p.m. — DeputyChuck Countryman conducteda traffic stop after observinga vehicle with a headlightout. Placed under arrestwithout incident at the scenewas driver Neal Eikanas, 49 ofMidwest City. He was transportedto the <strong>Kingfisher</strong>County Jail where he wasbooked.Oct. 4 — Deputy Hubbardwas dispatched to the LakeElmer Addition of <strong>Kingfisher</strong>in reference to a burglary report.At the scene, he contactedMike Delozier <strong>and</strong> ErinRichardson in the front yardof their mobile home.Richardson advised that thehouse had been broken intofrom the back door, where tool<strong>and</strong> pry marks were visible.The only property known tobe missing was large sums ofcash from various locations inthe home, but other items ofvalue were left.Oct. 5 — Deputy Hubbardwas dispatched to Rt. 3, Box10H, <strong>Kingfisher</strong>, in referenceto a break-in. Upon arrival,Ron Hertenson reported thathe had discovered the door tohis shop kicked in. Nothingwas known to be missing atthe time of the report. Photographswere taken at the scene.Oct 7 — Deputy Connerconducted a traffic stop onMitchell Road, Hennessey, afterobserving a black singlecabDodge pickup truck withan expired tag from 2009. Thedriver identified himself asDeras Cruz, with a date ofbirth of Jan. 3, 1974. He wasplaced under arrest for drivingwithout a license. An opencontainer of beer was foundin the vehicle <strong>and</strong> seized asevidence. The subject wastransported to the <strong>Kingfisher</strong>County Jail where it was determinedthat he was notDeras Cruz, but AntonioDeras, date of birth May 9,1980. The driver, identifiedas Bobby Jack Brooks, 36,of Wanette, did not have hislicense, <strong>and</strong> said he had left itat home because he was in ahurry. The officer ran Brooks’information through the computersystem <strong>and</strong> discoveredthat he was wanted on a warrant,<strong>and</strong> his license had beensuspended. He was placedunder arrest. During an inventoryof his vehicle prior toimpound, multiple stolenitems were found displayingthe <strong>Kingfisher</strong> Wal-Mart storenumber. The officer contactedthe store, which provided apicture of Brooks as he wasleaving the store at 1:30 a.m.Oct. 2, 4:42 p.m. — OfficerJustin Trumbley was dispatchedto Wal-Mart, 200 W.Starlite, in reference to a shoplifter.Upon arrival, he metwith the store’s asset protectionofficer, Jon Alex<strong>and</strong>er,who advised that a femalesubject took various itemsfrom the shelf in the clearanceaisle, then proceeded to theelectronics department. Oncethere, she selected two phonechargers, then went to the automotivedepartment whereshe took them from their package<strong>and</strong> concealed the merch<strong>and</strong>isein her purse, discardingthe package on the shelf.She then went to the grocerydepartment for various items.The suspect paid for the groceryitems, but not for the othermerch<strong>and</strong>ise, which was listedas two phone chargers, valuedat $14.96 each; Tag Princessstory book, $13; KymaroBody Shaper, $29.88 <strong>and</strong> twopajama jeans, $39.88 each.Alisa Sutherl<strong>and</strong>, 52, ofWatonga, was placed underarrest at the scene.Oct. 3 — Lt. David Catrontook a report from LarryAdams of Dennis’ ExpressPharmacy concerning twowomen who had come intothe store at different timesduring the day to fill prescriptions.One asked forhydrocodone adn the other forLoritab <strong>and</strong> Oxycodone. Bothpresented scrips whichAdams was unable to verify,so he did not fill the order. Hetold the officer that he calledthe doctor, who said that hedoes not write prescriptionson a pad. Both women hadgiven their names, but no identificationwas obtained on either.Oct. 3 — Lt. Catron took areport from Elinor Ledoux ofOkarche who said that she hadmade a purchase at Wal-Martin <strong>Kingfisher</strong> between thehours of 12:15 <strong>and</strong> 1:30 p.m.,<strong>and</strong> had left her purse in theshopping cart when she put itin the cart storage area. Shesaid she left <strong>and</strong> when shereturned, she found that herpurse was no longer in thecart. TravisGray responded to Dennis’Express Pharmacy where hetook a report from pharmacistMelissa Hunt concerning aforged prescription order.Hunt said that a white femaletried to pass what Hunt believedto be a fake prescriptionfor oxycodone <strong>and</strong> Zanex.When she questioned thewoman in regard to the scrip,she left.Oct. 5, 8 p.m. — Sgt. Gray<strong>and</strong> other officers respondedto a distress call at Dennis’Express Pharmacy. When theyarrived, they found twopeople, one inside <strong>and</strong> oneoutside the business.
