Annual Mountain Cat Tournament
This year’s Mountain Cat
Tournament is being held December
17 and 18 in the Pitt-Johnstown
Sports Center. Teams participating in
the tournament are Bishop McCort,
Greater Johnstown, North Star, and
Tussey Mountain High Schools.
Tickets are $5 and are available at the
door. Dr. Ernest J. Mantini ‘79 chairs
the event.
Pitt-Johnstown Proud
The 2010 Pitt-Johnstown Proud
event raised $10,000 for the annual
alumni scholarship. The evening
featured the presentation of the
Distinguished Alumnus Award.

It’s off the charts!
Membership in the Pitt-Johnstown Alumni Association is off
the charts! In just four years, Association memberships have
increased by 114%. Much of this increase is directly
attributable to the work of the members of the Alumni
Association Board of Directors, who have been working to
reconnect alumni through expanding Homecoming
festivities and supporting several campus events and
community organizations.

Are you looking for ways to support your alma mater? The Alumni Association’s leadership team is looking for new
members to serve on the alumni board. If you’re enthusiastic, have lots of great ideas to share, and are willing to roll
up your sleeves and help make a difference... please consider applying for one of the open slots.
Alumni Association elections will be held in spring 2011. If you are interested in having your name appear on the
ballot, please submit a completed application by Friday, December 31, 2010. In order to be eligible to have your
name placed on the ballot, all individuals must be active Alumni Association members who meet the criteria listed
under the “responsibilities” section contained in the application packet.
