Annual Mountain Cat Tournament<br />
This year’s Mountain Cat<br />
Tournament is being held December<br />
17 and 18 in the <strong>Pitt</strong>-<strong>Johnstown</strong><br />
Sports Center. Teams participating in<br />
the tournament are Bishop McCort,<br />
Greater <strong>Johnstown</strong>, North Star, and<br />
Tussey Mountain High Schools.<br />
Tickets are $5 and are available at the<br />
door. Dr. Ernest J. Mantini ‘79 chairs<br />
the event.<br />

event raised $10,000 for the annual<br />
alumni scholarship. The evening<br />
featured the presentation of the<br />
Distinguished Alumnus Award.<br />

It’s off the charts!<br />
Membership in the <strong>Pitt</strong>-<strong>Johnstown</strong> Alumni Association is off<br />
the charts! In just four years, Association memberships have<br />
increased by 114%. Much of this increase is directly<br />
attributable to the work of the members of the Alumni<br />
Association Board of Directors, who have been working to<br />
reconnect alumni through expanding <strong>Home</strong>coming<br />
festivities and supporting several campus events and<br />
community organizations.<br />

Are you looking for ways to support your alma mater? The Alumni Association’s leadership team is looking for new<br />
members to serve on the alumni board. If you’re enthusiastic, have lots of great ideas to share, and are willing to roll<br />
up your sleeves and help make a difference... please consider applying for one of the open slots.<br />
Alumni Association elections will be held in spring 2011. If you are interested in having your name appear on the<br />
ballot, please submit a completed application by Friday, December 31, <strong>2010</strong>. In order to be eligible to have your<br />
name placed on the ballot, all individuals must be active Alumni Association members who meet the criteria listed<br />
under the “responsibilities” section contained in the application packet.<br />
