Lynn Iams Barger has joined Pitt-Johnstown’s executive leadership team as
Chief Advancement Officer. Lynn, who was selected following a national search,
assumed her duties on July 1.
Lynn received her BA (summa cum laude) from Washington and Jefferson
College and her Master of Public Management (with highest distinction) from
Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and
Management. She comes to Pitt-Johnstown from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania where she has served as Associate Vice President for
Development, Acting Vice President for University Relations, and Director of
Corporate and Foundation Relations. Her career has also included positions
with Washington and Jefferson College, Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, and
Butler County Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Council for the
Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Fundraising
Professionals.
Lynn will lead Pitt-Johnstown’s advancement efforts, which encompass
development and alumni relations.
