LIST OF VERBS IRREGULAR IN THE PER-FECT AND SUPINE.[Owing to <strong>the</strong> irregularity <strong>of</strong> many verbs in <strong>the</strong> perfect and supine in <strong>the</strong>third conjugation, and <strong>of</strong> not a few in <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r conjugations also, no rulesthat could be given would be <strong>of</strong> much practical utility. <strong>The</strong> only effectualway to attain accuracy and readiness in <strong>the</strong> conjugation <strong>of</strong> verbs, is, to commit<strong>the</strong> primary parts, or <strong>the</strong> conjugation accurately from <strong>the</strong> Dictionary. Tobe able to do this, as soon as possible, is <strong>of</strong> great importance to every scholar;and it is not a task <strong>of</strong> so great difficulty as might be supposed. <strong>The</strong> followinglist contains all <strong>the</strong> simple verbs lhat vary, in <strong>the</strong> perfect and supine,
