The Rotary Vane PrincipleRotary vane vacuum pump working principleA rotor (2) positioned eccentrically in the pump cylindrical housing (1), free moving vanes (4) areinserted into numerous rotor slots (3), when the rotor turns, the centrifugal force throws the vanesagainst the cylindrical wall, and creating chamber between the rotor and cylinder, as the rotor continuesto turn, the chamber volume between blades keeps changing due to the rotor positionedeccentrically, from inlet (5) to outlet (6) port, the chamber volume will becomes bigger and thensmaller, when chamber volume becomes bigger, vacuum produced result from the rotation of vanes,thus air enters the chamber from the inlet port, when the chamber volume becomes smaller,due to air compressed, pressure produced at the outlet port.vacuum pumps are manufactured in accordance to:EN 1012-1 EN 1012-2 / Compressors and Vacuum pumpsEN ISO 12100-1 EN ISO 12100-2 EN 294 / Safety of machineryEN 60034 / Rotating electrical machines EN 60204-1 / Electrical equipment of machinesEN 61000-6-1 EN 61000-6-2 EN 61000-6-3 EN 61000-6-4 / Electromagnetic Compatibility
