2005 MY OBD System Operation Summary for Gasoline Engines

On ESM DPFE systems, after the vehicle is started, the differential pressure indicated by the ESM DPFE sensor atidle, at zero EGR flow is checked to ensure that both hoses to the ESM DPFE sensor are connected. At idle, thedifferential pressure should be zero (both hoses see intake manifold pressure).
