This permits the worldwide use ofRexroth MKE-motors with one machine design only.In connection with the drive control devices offered by Rexroth, the MKE motorsare drive systems with a high functionality for the use in potentially explosiveareas.MKE motors are available in the following power spectrum:Performance featuresFig.1-1:MKE power gradationMKE motors are characterized by the following advantages:● Motor construction in "Flameproof Enclosures" according to EN 50 014 :1992●●●●High operational reliabilityMaintenance-free operation (owing to the brushless design and use ofbearings grease-lubricated for their entire lifetime)Use under adverse environmental conditions is possible (owing to thecompletely closed motor design in IP 65 degree of protectionOverload protection (by means of motor-temperature control)
