Qualifiedtechnical personnel must possess appropriate safety equipment and have beentrained in first aid.11.3 Mechanical Mounting – Motor Assembly11.3.1 Flange ConnectionTo attach the motors correctly and safely to the machine, <strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Rexroth</strong> recommendsthe following screws and washers for motor mounting.The screwed connections must be able to take up both the forcedue to the weight of the motor and the forces acting during operation.For standard case, use pan-head machine screw DIN 912 - M... x ... - 8.8 andrelated washers according to DIN EN 28738. In case of several motors, theintegration of washers is not required, see table.If the screws and washers used do not comply with this recommdation,the stability class of the screws and the hardness class mustbe equivalent in order to transmit the required tightening torques(see Fig. 11-1).
