Panzergrenadier-Brigade, whose staff was activ<strong>at</strong>edon July 27, 1942, by order of OKH, from personnel of Infanterie-Regimente.9 and 67 of the 23. Bafanterie-Division. The divisionwas transferred in Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 194-2" <strong>to</strong> Miens, France, for trainingand coastal defense, and in August and September 194-3 <strong>to</strong> southernItaly <strong>to</strong> defend the Salerno and Cassino areas.
