Infanterie-Division (l* Welle) by expansionof Infanterie-Regiment 13 of the old Reichswehr, this divisionparticip<strong>at</strong>ed in the campaign against Poland in September andOc<strong>to</strong>ber 1939, transferred <strong>to</strong> the German-Luxembourg border for thewestern campaign in May 194-0, and in Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 194-0 from the demarc<strong>at</strong>ionline in France back <strong>to</strong> its home st<strong>at</strong>ion in Ludwigsburg, WehrkreisV.
