CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORKFourthAnnualRadiothonRaises Record Amount for ACHFive-year-old Emily Pyron, who hasbeen treated at ACH, answered aphone and took a pledge from a veryimportant caller – her grandfather.Tears, smiles and laughs were shared in February when B98.5 hosted the fourth annualChampions for Children Radiothon benefiting <strong>Arkansas</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong>. The Radiothon,held Feb. 12-14 in the lobby of the hospital, raised more than $301,000 for ACH.Patients, families, donors and caregivers were invited to share their stories about ACH duringthe Radiothon, putting into words the care, love and hope that happens every day in thehospital. Proceeds from the Radiothon came from many sources, including pledge donations,sponsors and Change Angels, a group of 210 individuals and organizations who collecteddonations of change from friends, family and co-workers in the weeks leading up to theRadiothon.
