Ring!Phone-A-Thon A SuccessPhones were ringing all over <strong>Arkansas</strong> in March when215 volunteers participated in the annual Committee forthe Future Phone-A-Thon.This year’s event raised more than $136,000 for<strong>Arkansas</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong> programs, including Beads ofCourage and the ACH Research Institute. Committee forthe Future, a volunteer organization of young professionalsin Pulaski County, coordinates the Phone-A-Thonannually.During the Phone-A-Thon, volunteers from organizationsand businesses in central <strong>Arkansas</strong> place calls toprevious donors and ask for their renewed support.Special thanks to key volunteers: Bill Hughan, chair;Kizzia Jones, co-chair; Trav Baxter, Emily Runyon, LoriHolloway and Heather Franco.
