English - EngelskIndividual assessmentEvery application for assistance will be evaluated individually. In most cases a skilled consultantwill visit you at home to evaluate your needs. It is important that you, as the one applying forassistance, cooperate with the office in order to determine the adequate service you may need. Insome cases, a comprehensive analysis will be needed in order to find the right service. If so, youwill be notified of what has to be done before a final decision is made.The decisionThe office is the one taking the decision concerning individual services. This decision will describethe kind and amount of assistance to be granted. It will also clarify if the service must be paid for;and it stretches over a certain time period.Appeal of the decisionIf your application is denied, or you are granted less assistance than the one you have applied for,you can appeal the decision. You will find information about how to appeal the final decisionwritten on the decision letter.
