MENU DESCRIPTIONAdjusting GainThe gain of each channel can be adjusted from the Gain menu. Bellow is a picture of thismenu. The gain value can be read on the top of the LCD screen for each channel (unit is dB). Tochange the delay for a given channel, select the channel first by pressing thecorresponding “select” button. The channel name on screen will then be put betweenbracket (see on the picture above, channel 2 is selected). Then turn the wheel to changethe gain setting (from – 6 dB to + 6 dB).You can select multiple channels by pressing several “select” buttons at the same time. When a selected channel reaches the maximum value, it will cease to increase bycontinuing to turn the wheel, but other selected channels may still increase the setting: becareful not to change a gap between two channel settings when selecting multiple channelsat the same time.In some special circumstances (cardioids setups for example) it is mandatory to have samegain settings on two or more channels. Then, changing the gain on one of these channelswill automatically adjust the gains on the other channels.Adjusting Array EQNB: You can adjust large differences of gain between channels with the volume menu (seeabove). There is basically no difference between gain setting and volume setting for achannel, this distinction is only done by analogy with traditional amplifiers. The CPU willalways take care of gain and volume settings and decide what the best combination isbetween analog or digital gain to optimize dynamic range of the system. The Array EQ of each channel can be adjusted from the Array EQ menu. Bellow is a pictureof this menu.PAGE 39 OF 80
