CMS Founder, Dr JagdishGandhi inspired the students to protectenvironment, reminding them thatearthis ourmotheranditisourdutytoprotectit.International InformaticsOlympiadAditi Agarwal, student of Class III of CMS,GomtiNagarcampuswonaGoldMedalasfirstprizeatInternationalInformaticsOlympiadfordisplayingheroutstandingabilitiesinthisfield.She was especially honoured for this brilliantachievement. This competition was organizedat national level under the aegis of ComputerLiteracyFoundation,NewDelhi.Greeting Card ContestYash Thakur, aclass IV student ofCMS, Gomti Nagar campus wonthe first prize in inter-schoolgreeting card design makingcompetition organized by PrasarBharti Doordarshan Kendra,Lucknow. Gaurav has also been selectedforfellowshipbyKendriyaVigyanProtsahanYojana and National Talent Search byGovernmentofIndiaearlier.Group Dance ContestA15-member team of brilliant students ofCMS,RajendraNagarwonthefirstprizeintheinter-school group dance contest orgnaized atRaiUmanathBaliAuditoriumby"SurSangamEvamSampurnaKalaKendra".TheCMSteamincluded Sonal, Muskan, Anubhav, Manjari,Shrishti, Rishika, Jegesha, Shivangi, Shreya,Palaksh, Anushka, Ishika, Amisha, SamarthandAbhimanya.Thesestudentswereawardedcertificateandshieldbytheorganizers.Greeting Card DesignEkta Singh, student of CMSMahanagar Icampus won thefirst prize in inter schoolgreeting card designcompletition organised byPrasar Bharti DoordarshanKendra, Lucknow. The greeting carddesigned by Ekta in this competitionconveyedthemessageofworldunity,worldpeace and global brotherhood taught inCMS.Tennis ChampionshipPushkar Aditya Singh of CMSGomti Nagar got the award ofthebestsportsmanofthestateofUttarPradeshbywinningtheAllIndia Talent series TennisChampionship (12-16 years)held at SDS TennisAcademy, Gomti Nagar.Hewasawardedashieldandcertificatebytheorganisers.Merit HoldersPriyamvad and Shubham Bajpai, students ofCMS Mahanagar secured the third andfourteenth position respectively in the meritlist of Regional Mathematical Olympiadorganised at All India level by NationalMathematical Olympiad, New Delhi.Thousands of students from all over thecountryparticipatedintheolympiad.Dr Bharti Gandhi HonouredFounder-Director of CMS Dr (Mrs) BhartiGandhiwasawardedProgressiveAwardforherunparalleledservicestotheworldofeducation.Dr Bharti Gandhi received this prestigiousawardfromtheChiefGuestDrAbdulMannan,Hon'ble Minister for Science and Technology,U.P. at a grand ceremony organised at RaiUmanath Bali Auditorium to mark the 15thanniversary of Hindi weekly.
