He was accompanied byMr Sandeep Srivastava,Advocate, ProjectLeaderoftheChiefJusticesConference.CMSMourns Mrs Aruna Varma's DemiseThe illustrious career of dynamic lady, Mrs ArunaVarma came to an endwith hersudden demise on6June2010.MrsVarma,aJeweloftheInstitutionrosefrom the position of pre-primary teacher in CMS tobecome the institution's Inspectress and Head,QualityAssurance and Inspection Department. Herdemise on 6June following acardiac arrest sent awave of shock in the entire CMS family.She wasalwaysapillarofstrengthfortheinstitution,asourceofgreatmotivationfor the Principals, teachers and students. She believed in hard work,punctuality and regularity and never shirked from any responsibilityentrusted to her by the management. She was open to innovation andexperimentationandreadilytookupnewchallengesintheinterestofthechildren.Theinstitutionmournstheuntimelydemiseofoneofitsfinestworkersandpraysthathersoulmayrestinpeace.A15-member student delegation of CMS Gomti Nagar comprisingstudents Vikas Mishra, Avijit, Lakshay Sharma, Aarush Gupta,Tanushree Yadav, Divyanshu Singh, Tushar Verma, Ritwik Kumar,GauriSharma,TusharVerma,MeghaSingh,RaghavTripathiandKomalBharti Stefansdottir Gandhi participated in the ISSE (InternationalSchool-to SchoolExperience) programmewith Nuevo ContinenteSchoolofMexico.MrsJyotiKaul was the leader of theteam while Mrs AditiSharma and Ms PriyankaBhardwaj were the deputyleaders. This delegationspent three weeks in NuevoContinente School of Mexico as guests from 15 May to 5June andattendedclassesthere,therebygettingtoknowthestudentsandteachingprocessofMexicobesideslearningaboutits cultureandtraditionsonafirst-hand basis.
