He recorded the largest final-round comebacksince Ryan Palmer came from five back in2004 with a final-round 62.Robert Garrigus became the first player sinceJohn Daly (1995 British Open) to lead the PGATOUR in driving distance and win in the sameseason.STUART APPLEBYRobert Garrigus became the fourth player toovercome a five-stroke-or-more deficit on thefinal day to win on the PGA TOUR in 2010. StuartAppleby came back from seven strokes behindto win The Greenbrier Classic; Bubba Watsoncame back from six strokes to win the TravelersChampionship; and Matt Kuchar came back fromfive strokes down to win The Barclays.Robert Garrigus won in his fifth start at theChildren’s Miracle Network Classic. His previousbest finish in the Children’s Miracle NetworkClassic was T10 in 2008. He missed the cut in2006, 2007 and 2009.2010 Children’s Miracle Network Classic runner-upRoland Thatcher came into the week No. 179 onthe money list and in need of a solo second-placefinish to finish inside the top 125 to retain hisPGA TOUR card for 2011. Thatcher (122), MichaelConnell (115) and Mark Wilson (123, exemptfor 2011) were the only players to move into thetop 125 on the season-ending official moneylist following the Children’s Miracle NetworkClassic.
