Each member <strong>of</strong> a group, as it is constituted on June 30 <strong>of</strong> each year, who has alsoqualified for an individual award for all four (4) quarters <strong>of</strong> the year under this section, will bepermitted to participate in the group award provided no disqualifying event, as defined in A.through F. above has been charged against any member <strong>of</strong> the group during the evaluationperiod.E. Employees in the listed classes who, during the evaluation period, are in a Training anddevelopment assignment for a period in excess <strong>of</strong> thirty (30) consecutive calendar days to aclass not listed in this Safety Incentive Program shall not be eligible to receive either theindividual or group award. Employees in classes not listed in the Safety Incentive Programwho accept a Training and Development assignment to one <strong>of</strong> the listed classes are eligibleto receive either or both awards provided they are in the eligible class for the entireevaluation period and experience no disqualifying event.F. Individual awards for the Safety Incentive Award program will be given on a quarterlybasis. The first evaluation period will be July 1, 19999 through September 30, 1999, andwill continue on a quarterly basis thereafter.G. Group awards for the Safety Incentive Award Program will be given on an annual basis.The first evaluation period will be July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000, and will continuefrom year to year thereafter.H. The individual award will be a $25.00 gift certificate.I. The group award will be a day <strong>of</strong>f <strong>with</strong> pay which will be designated as AdministrativeTime Off (ATO). To be approved, this ATO must be scheduled in advance and taken <strong>with</strong>in<strong>12</strong> months <strong>of</strong> being earned.4.11 Personal Alarm DevicesA. All <strong>Unit</strong> <strong>12</strong> employees in the Department <strong>of</strong> Corrections shall upon request be provided<strong>with</strong> a personal alarm device for the area the employee is assigned if there is a personalalarm system in that area.42BU <strong>12</strong>(99-01)
