<strong>Micro</strong>-<strong>adjustable</strong> drilling <strong>head</strong> <strong>M040</strong>Sturdy – Accurate – Easy to useWith the <strong>M040</strong> micro-<strong>adjustable</strong> drilling <strong>head</strong>, slide adjustment is still recordeddirectly by means of an electr<strong>on</strong>ic measurement system. The measurement result isevaluated by a microprocessor and displayed <strong>on</strong> an LCD display with a resoluti<strong>on</strong>of 1 µm. This reduces errors in adjustment and read-off to a minimum.• Sturdy designBy using new technology we have been able to make the new <strong>M040</strong> evensturdier. With its water and dustproof design (IP67), it is not affected by eitherchips or coolant.• Direct measurement = accurate measurementEven with the most highly accurate translati<strong>on</strong> of adjustment sequences, othermicro-<strong>adjustable</strong> drilling <strong>head</strong>s <strong>on</strong>ly show the adjustment value indirectly. Our<strong>M040</strong> micro-<strong>adjustable</strong> <strong>head</strong> works directly in c<strong>on</strong>juncti<strong>on</strong> with the actualmeasurement process, making the operati<strong>on</strong> c<strong>on</strong>siderably easier for theoperator.• Easy to useThe <strong>head</strong> has been made even easier to use, switching from absolute todifferential dimensi<strong>on</strong>s with <strong>on</strong>ly two keys and also allowing the differential tobe set to zero.C<strong>on</strong>centricity or balanced positi<strong>on</strong> can be easily located again in the Absolutemode without need for a setting device.• Extended setting rangeThe adjustment value has been increased to 5 mm in the diameter.• Replaceable bridgesIn c<strong>on</strong>juncti<strong>on</strong> with the new replaceable bridges it is possible to machine boresup to 103 mm.
