Thougheach series is distinctive in its own right, using the two product linestogether may be exactly what is needed to meet today’s everevolvingand increasingly competitive sound system installationchallenges.For example, several long throw R2’s or RSH-462’s may be perfectlycomplemented by a group of W2-2W8’s added to the system forunderbalcony fill. Or, perhaps a grouping of R1’s will cover 80% of themain arena, but a group of W2-218’s are needed to fill in someshadowed areas. The possibilities are endless. We encourage you toexplore the highly effective end results that can readily be obtainedby mixing and matching these two product categories to best suit yourdesign requirements.R-Series and WET Series IIAll-Weather / All-Purpose Loudspeakers• Both product lines are extremely resistant to inclement weather and harshenvironments, and both carry an identical 15-year enclosure warranty, plus a 5-yearproduct warranty against manufacturing defects.• Both feature Community’s proprietary three-layer Weather-Stop protective grilles.• Both feature Community’s proprietary dual-layer powder coating process on itsgrilles and yokes for added durability and corrosion resistance.• Both use grade 304 stainless steel hardware throughout.• Both lines offer optional 70V/100V autoformers for the small and mid-sized systems.• Both lines are equipped with stainless steel internal rigging fittings that acceptthreaded fasteners allowing for a variety of mounting options.WET SERIES IIR-SERIESThe R-Series family features 22 modelsthat range in capability from short throwusage for local area fill (about 30 to 50feet), to extremely long throwcapability… enough to reach across anentire stadium or even further (about 700feet). A wide selection of coverageangles and power output capabilitiescharacterize this versatile product line.A small, single 12” subwoofer (called theR.5SUB) and a much larger dual 12”subwoofer (called the R2SUB) are availableto complement full-range systems. A full,horn-loaded subwoofer/bass augmentationloudspeaker is available in the model R6-Basshorn. Smaller R-Series products arerotationally molded of polyethylene, whilethe larger models are built from hand-laidglass fiber composites. All models areavailable in architectural light grey, butcustom colors are also available forvolume purchases.All medium and long throw R-Seriessystems feature horn loading in allfrequency bands. The acclaimed R2 isoffered with no less than three symmetrichorn patterns and two asymmetric hornpatterns, and all models with theexception of R6, RMG and RSH areequipped with internal protectioncircuitry to guard against abusiveoverdrive.In summary, R-Series products are the clearchoice for short, medium, and long throwapplications where high-power speechand music reinforcement is required. R-Series systems are foundin many of the world’s preeminent motorspeedways, convention centers andsports venues.The WET Series II family features a selectionof 14 models that span an impressive scaleof size, power, and coverage patterns.Models are available for short throwapplications for local area coverage andunderbalcony fill, to high-power mediumthrow requirements (about 150 feet).In addition to the comprehensive selectionof full-range models, the WET II line includesthree sizes of powerful subwoofers,affording a complete end-to-end solutionfor modern, ultra-high fidelity musicapplications.All WET II models are constructed ofmultilayer glass fiber composite, and allare available in either white or black glossyfinishes. WET II loudspeakers may also beordered in custom color enclosures at anominal fee.WET II products are uniquely styled withCommunity’s own curved enclosureshape.
