R-SERIESR-SERIESR.5HPHIGH PERFORMANCE, MEDIUM THROW12-INCH FULL-RANGEThe “high performance” R.5HP is a three-way horn loaded systemengineered to provide maximum intelligibility from the same compactform factor. By combining Community's M200 midrange drivercoaxially within the mouth of a 12" LF horn, an extremely powerfultool for voice announcement systems with 60 x 40 degree coveragewas created. High frequencies are handled by Community's nonmetallicdiaphragm UC1 1" exit HF driver. The M200/UC1combination creates effortless voice-power with HF sparkle thatmust be heard to be appreciated. The R.5HP can act as both amusical entertainment loudspeaker and a voice PA loudspeakersimultaneously. An optional transformer version (model R.5HPT) isalso available.R.5HP and R.5SUB loudspeakers constitute the powerfulsound system at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton,Georgia.R.5SUB12-INCH SUBWOOFERThe R.5SUB is a compact, passively crossed-over weather-resistantlow frequency system for additional low end. The R.5SUB systemadds extended LF reproduction to complement the R.25 and R.5 fullrangemodels. Its compact size and weather-resistant propertiesallow for easy inclusion in a wide variety of environments. Anoptional transformer model provides impedance matching to 70V or100V lines.R.5SUB subwoofers add energetic low end to the outstandingsound system at Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway.R1MEDIUM/LONG THROW, HIGH FIDELITY12-INCH LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEMSThe R1 two-way full-range loudspeaker system is an all horn-loadeddesign using multilayer glass composite construction. The widerange, smooth frequency response and high efficiency of the R1ensure excellent quality music reproduction and superb projection ofclear intelligible speech with very low distortion. R1 loudspeakersare available in three coverage patterns: 60° x 40°, 60° x 60°, and 90°x 40°. A weather-resistant mounting yoke is included for ease ofinstallation.R1 systems are installed in Kenyon College’s state-of-the-artAthletic Complex in Gambier, Ohio and the elegant RiminiConvention Center in Rimini, Italy.R1-BNGMEDIUM/LONG THROW 12-INCHSYSTEMS FOR INDOOR APPLICATIONSWhile the standard version of R1 is weather-ready with a Weather-Stop grille and neutral gray exterior, R1 systems can also beordered with a black enclosure and no grille (suffix BNG) for indoorapplications. Community’s AFC200 200-watt autoformer andTRC400 400-watt transformer are available as optional accessories,while a steel yoke mounting bracket is included.
