Local 1786 Union <strong>of</strong>fice is located behind Little Hall inbuilding 1002.The National Union <strong>of</strong>fice is headquartered inWashington, D.C., on 80 F Street and divided into 12geographical districts consisting <strong>of</strong> some 1,100 locals.


Of the 1.75 million people employed bythe federal government, only 250,000 arebased in the Washington, D.C.,metropolitan area.
