Cardell® MAX-12HD User’s Manual3.6 MenuMenu offers different selections. The keyis used to activate themain menu of the device. The contents of the menu change with the channelsetup:In the main menu line, rotate the knob to point to a key (see above IBP2), andpress the knob to enter the sub-menu operations.After entering sub-menu, rotate the knob to point to a key and press the knob.You can enter the next menu or select a function directly and press the knobto confirm the selection. When finished, rotate the knob to BACK and pressthe knob to confirm to exit. Then the setting is saved.Volume and Brightness menu may also be displayed by directly pressing thehot key as follows:Alarm sound volume has 7 selections. Heart rate sound volume has 7selections. Display brightness can be adjusted. Under Normal mode, thescreen is bright, suitable for monitoring in daytime. When Night mode isselected, the screen is darker, suitable for monitoring at night.NOTE: If any alarm occurs, the Night mode will be exited.NOTE: System prevents entering Night mode during alarms.1. In system setup menu, press to return the normal monitoring screen.2. In sub-menu mode, press to return to the previous menu. If this key isheld down, the monitor will return to the normal monitoring screen.When user has not performed any operations for over 30 seconds, the menudisplay will automatically disappear and return to full screen.24 M1.0 5-15-09
