MH-04/2008-09/ -NMPB(Project No. MH-04/2008-09)Name of the Grantee/InstitutionAmount (Rs.)The Principal Ramnarain RuiaCollege, Chennai. 10,00,000/-The grant-in-aid as per provision of Rule 206 of General Financial Rules-2005 ofGeneral Financial Rules-2005 and will be subject to the conditions laid down in GFR-2005.The grants is to be utilized during the financial year 2010-11.The accounts of the grantee institution/organization shall be open to inspectionby the sanctioning authority and audit both by the CAG of India under the provision ofCAG (DPC) Act, 1971 and internal audit wing of the O/o CCA of the Ministry,whenever the institution or organization is called upon to do so.
The payment of grant will be made direct by ECS payable to the Office bearer ofthe Institute, authorized to operate upon its bank accounts and to bind it financially inaccordance with rules and regulations on receipt of a request therefore, from theinstitution accompanied by (1) an undertaking in the prescribed Proforma that the termsand conditions of the grant are acceptable to the individualfarmers/college/organization, (2) a certificate stating that they are not involved in anyproceeding relating to the accounts or conduct for any of its office bearers, (3) a bondduly executed and signed in the prescribed Proforma for the full amount as sanctionedin this letter and/or the grantee has been exempted from executing a bond, (4) a certifiedcopy duly authenticated by a Gazetted Officer of the documents showing theconstitution of the Governing Body or Managing Committee responsible for the runningof the organization and that the persons signing the bond are authorized to operateupon and bind the funds of the organization/institution as per the prescribed Proforma.The other terms and conditions shall be as per Operational Guidelines of the Scheme.The expenditure is debitable to Demand No. 47 – Department of AYUSH- (MajorHead)-2210-Medicinal & Public Health (Major Head) – 02200- Other Systems (MinorHead), 13-Setting up of National Board of Medicinal Plants, 130031- Grant-in-aid for theyear 2010-11.
