Up tonow crossbar exchanges serving about40,000 lines have been installed inabout thirty Jugoslavian towns, andexchanges for ano<strong>the</strong>r forty towns areon order and under production.Extension <strong>of</strong>500-SelectorExchange in ChileL M Ericsson has signed a contractwith <strong>the</strong> city <strong>of</strong> Arica in Chile for <strong>the</strong>extension <strong>of</strong> its telephone network by500 lines on <strong>the</strong> AGF 500-selectorsystem. An AGF exchange with acapacity <strong>of</strong> 500 lines was opened inArica in 1953.
