At the center of <strong>Sonova</strong>'s corporate culture are a flat hierarchy and motivated and<br />

dedicated employees who are encouraged to think entrepreneurially and be creative.<br />

The Group gives high priority to sustainability in its collaboration<br />

with customers and suppliers. <strong>Sonova</strong> ensures<br />

that the quality of its products and services always meet<br />

the same high standards with Group-wide supplier guidelines,<br />

conferences and training for its partners.<br />

Within the framework of its environmental management,<br />

<strong>Sonova</strong> ensures that it handles resources efficiently and<br />

meets global standards. Last year, the Group reached<br />

another milestone in its environmental management by<br />

becoming ISO 14001 certified.<br />

<strong>Sonova</strong> is actively committed to raising awareness about<br />

the issues surrounding hearing and hearing loss. The Hear<br />

the World initiative launched in 2006 by Phonak pursues<br />

the goal of raising awareness around the world about the<br />

importance of good hearing, and provides information on<br />

prevention and solutions for those affected.<br />

The Hear the World Foundation is dedicated globally to<br />

promoting equal opportunities and improving the quality<br />

of life for people affected by hearing loss. This non-profit<br />

foundation provides financial funding and hearing systems<br />

through the projects it supports.<br />
